Set in 40 acres the farm was once a corn mill, the house is adjacent to a mill pond and the bed and breakfast is excellent.
Warren mill farm has baby Guinea pigs, miniature cattle, alpacas, llamas wallabies and ponies. And of course the pararie dogs, fantastic funny little creatures!
Adults £3.50 and children £2.00 and of course the café can provide a cup of tea.
The Amelia Trust Farm
The Amelia Trust farm is a really popular place to take the kids in the holidays, car park gets crowded but the farm always copes with the numbers. Its a big farm at 160 acres and is a charitable organisation, so its best to make a contribution.There are some good exploring walks and a big carp pond. Plenty of activities to enjoy in the woods.

The Welsh Hawking Centre
The Welsh Hawking centre is considerably more than just an chance to see, eagles, hawks, falcons and other birds of prey. The flying demonstrations are excellent, complete with first class narration and fascinating facts.
It is situated in the Vale of Glamorgan near Barry and has a kids small animal farm and of course a café for a cup of tea.

Walnut Tree Farm Park Facilities
Walnut tree farm park is situated on the East side of Cardiff not far from Newport. It is a delightful farm park with all the animals really healthy and plenty of room to express themselves.
In addition you can find a soft play area, outside there are plenty of picnic tables. There is a well designed walk to explore the outer reaches of the park and a clean and enticing well organised cafe.
Walnut tree farm park is an underused location, the owners are active in adding variety to their animal collection.
Existing residents include long horn cattle, goat, small ponies, donkeys, llamas chickens and its latest attraction George and Mildred the turkeys !
Try out the pedal go carts.
A different day can be planned in the way of a fishing trip, with a days fishing at the three lakes on site. In fact a bit of fishing might even be a good idea for father's day.
